Scented Oil Candles

Scented oil candles melt quickly in order to rapidly spread their aroma through the room. The whole objective of them is to melt, because the more melted wax there is, the better it will release its scent.

A small scented oil candle will take 30 minutes to an hour to melt, and then will continue to burn for 2-4 hours depending on the size of the candle. Many people will allow the wax to burn away completely in one sitting. But if you do have to extinguish the candle before all the wax is gone, as it cools it will solidify from a liquid back into a solid wax. Just like a regular wax candle, if all the wax burns away, the flame will go out.

Some people prefer scented oil candles because of their ability to spread so much fragrance so quickly. Some of these candles also have essential oils infused into them, so they are also very effective as aromatherapy candles. These candles are easy to fine and great to use.
