Floating Candles

While any candle can add ambience to a setting, floating candles can add even more effect. These candles can be used anywhere that there is water to float them in.

One of the most popular places to use floating candles is in backyard ponds. If you are having a party or barbeque after dark, adding some floating candles to your fish pond or even to your birdbath can add interesting light effects to your yard. Another time floating candles are used a lot is at weddings and receptions. If there is any water at the event, candles can be put in it. If not, decorative bowls of water at each table can hold two or three candles.

Floating candles can be used in many places for many different reasons. Making an evening at home more romantic with these candles can be very effective as well. One of the best things about candles that float is that you can get them in almost any shape or color you want. Adding other accessories, like colored water or beads, to the bowl of water or whatever is holding them will help you create your own unique look.
