Candle Scents

If you are going to make your own candles, you want to be able to find candle scents that you really love. There is no point in putting forth the effort to make candles if you don’t like the scents you’re working with.

It is actually very easy to find quality candle scents to work with. When you are hunting down fragrances, look for ones that are of a high quality. Low quality fragrances will not hold their scent, or won’t smell nice when you use them.

Also try to find candle scents that will work with a wide variety of candle making materials. If you are planning on making candles out of multiple materials such as paraffin, beeswax, and soy, you want the scents to be able to work with all of them.

There are lots of materials and books out there on making candles. Just remember that you could make beautiful candles, but if the candle scent isn’t good, all your hard work will be wasted. Buy some quality scent that you’re pretty sure you’ll like, and start slow. Soon you’ll be making candles like a pro.
